Why was the IPOD such a hit anyway?

The ipod allows a user to store only their favorite songs... and by truth standard, even if its only a thousand, thats alot. This because of the fact that artists can only sing one good song per album. A few exeptions though -- Usher, Linkinpark, Greenday and William Hung (he had two hits: She Bangs and We are the Champions)

i like that. you name usher and linkin park as multiple-song wonders and leave michael jackson, nirvana, and coldplay out of it.

anywho it was a hit because it was the most portable and user-friendly computer SOLEY designed for music (is anything else really important?)

the ipod was a hit coz its a mac! if it was from other companies, it would've been flooded with viruses by now, and we at the philippines would already have our own version of a pseudo-ipod, that's almost like the real one except that its can be bought for less 20bucks

recently heard IPOD may cause hearing loss because of the excellent quality of the sound. ppl are inclined to turn it up higher.

the ipod hit because it looked weird. it's poor design was its biggest factor.

when people saw it, they thought "what an ugly looking thing" but when they realized what it could do, its capabilities exceeded all expectations, even first impressions.
